What will I DO as a volunteer for the PCC?
MEN AND WOMEN NEEDED!
FULL TRAINING PROVIDED!
Have a heart for people and the desire to do God's work by loving our clients and helping them be great parents! You will be trained how to speak and interact with clients. All curriculum is provided for the lessons. You just need to have the heart.
This can be done in conjunction with other areas (admin, boutique, etc.).
MEN AND WOMEN NEEDED!
Doctors, PA's, NP's, RN's and LPN's
The Pregnancy Care Center has recently started doing free STD Testing and treatment for our clients. We are seeking medical staff that would be willing to help with testing, standing orders, scripts, etc. Contact email@example.com to learn more.
We would also like to start doing sonograms and are looking for those that are certified to do so for a future sono program.
Administrative Volunteer: SOME TRAINING PROVIDED! Should have some office and computer experience. Perform data entry, paper work, filing, answering phones. Can do this in conjunction with boutique, child care and even peer counseling if you wish.
Work with our Boutique Coordinators to manage donations of clothing, blankets, diapers, formula and more. Help to fold, organize, etc.
Good work to do in conjunction with Administrative, child care or even Peer Counseling work.
Fundraising & Grant Writing:
Have you done fundraising or grant writing in the past? Can you help with fundraising and/or grant writing for the PCC? Work with our Executive Director to get more dollars for the PCC without going after state or federal dollars!
Child Care Provider:
Watch our client's children while our clients are in counseling session. Keep and eye on them in our waiting room where toys and other activities are provided and be sure they are safe. This work is not needed a lot, so you will likely want to do this in conjunction with administrative and/or Boutique work.
Also need help once per month on the first Friday evening of each month (7-8pm) during our Heart 2 Heart program, and possibly on the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month (7-8pm during our Man 2 Man program.
Do you know a lot of people in the community? Do you get out a lot and meet with people? Or would you be willing to start getting out?
We need people who can bring our marketing materials to community agencies, doctor's offices, schools, restaurant's, bars and more!
We also need people with great connections in the county to help us find businesses and organizations that offer grants or that may provide underwriting, or even donations for raffle baskets.
